She received a Silver medal under the 49kg weight lifting category for India. She was a very young Tokyo Olympic athlete from India. Totally Mirabai Chanu lifted 202kg (87kg + 115kg). Mirabai Chanu previously participated in the 2016 games. At that, she failed to lift even a single lifting.
